Some scripts are designed to bypass standard blocks by using 'pop-unders' instead. I found that Betrolla Casino would occasionally trigger a hidden window behind my main browser session even with my blocker active. I had to update my filter lists to include 'Fanboy’s Annoyances' to finally kill off those persistent redirects. It’s worth checking if your extension has an 'Aggressive Mode' that you can toggle for better protection whilst browsing.
