Receiving money from abroad
Just starting to get clients from other countries and realized I have no clue about payment methods. I have heard about different services but I am not sure which one makes the most sense for someone who is just starting out. What do most freelancers here use to receive international payments without losing too much to fees? And how long does it usually take for the money to reach a local account?

When I started freelancing, I used PayPal because it was the only thing I knew. But the fees were eating up a good chunk of my earnings, and the exchange rate was terrible. Then I switched to Wise and never looked back. It's way cheaper and faster. The money usually hits my local bank account within a day or two. I also set up Payoneer for clients who use Upwork since it integrates directly. So my advice is to have both Wise and Payoneer ready.
