Can you really get both wedding bands fully custom made, or is that too complicated to pull off?
My partner and I are about eight months out from our wedding and we've both agreed we don't want off-the-shelf bands. The problem is every conversation I have about this seems to get complicated quickly. We want pieces that feel connected to each other — same design language, complementary rather than identical — his more architectural and substantial, mine with diamonds and a slightly more delicate profile. But every time I bring up doing both rings as a coordinated bespoke commission I get the sense that studios either don't really do that or they treat it as two completely separate projects with no real dialogue between them. Is a properly coordinated matching set actually achievable, or am I overcomplicating this?
