Recently I wandered into a village that was not touristy at all, I just turned off the highway, following a sign for a waterfall that even Google maps barely show. And there - a river, a waterfall ten meters high, greenery, no one around. An old woman from the nearest house told me that people used to gather there on holidays. Now only the locals remember. I think there are a lot of such places, but they just didn't hit the trends. Share, maybe someone else also has such finds?

Was introduced to https://plinko.kr through a friend in Korea who said he plays it during his train commute. I figured I’d give it a shot, and now I totally get the hype. It’s not flashy, but it’s fun in the most low-pressure way possible. And since the platform is fully in English, I didn’t have to struggle with translating random buttons or popups. It works well on mobile too, which is perfect for short breaks or while waiting around.
Yeah, I know the feeling. When I started life in Idaho, I was sure I knew all the top spots. And then a guy at a coffee shop told me about a canyon that no one writes about - not on blogs or Instagram. We went there at dawn, and it was a moment of silence and complete disconnection from the world. All you could hear was the wind and your own breath. I even wrote about it on life in Idaho, if anyone's interested. Sometimes it is such quiet corners that leave the most vivid impressions.
