Curious to hear from the local boaters—where do you typically stop for gas on Lake Travis? Is there a go-to marina you trust for quick refueling and fair prices? I’m new to the area and would love some tips before heading out

I usually stop at the fuel dock at Lakeway Marina. It’s been reliable for years, and they usually have someone on staff to help tie up and get you going fast. It’s a good choice if you're boating around the central or south end of the lake. Just a heads-up—it can get busy on weekends, so aim for early or late fueling to avoid the midday crowd. There are also a couple of smaller spots like Briarcliff that are worth checking out if you're farther west.
Welcome to the lake life! If you’re looking for a smooth and convenient fuel stop with gas on lake travis, I’d definitely recommend the gas dock at Northshore Marina. It’s located in The Hollows and is super easy to access, especially if you’re cruising the quieter north side of Lake Travis. Their fuel dock is well-maintained, and service is quick—which is great when you're trying to stay on schedule. They also have snacks and essentials if you need to restock mid-ride.
