It is the mission of Leadership Atlanta to build a better community for everyone in the Atlanta region through education about the key issues facing the region and inspiring members and others to take on and exercise real leadership committed to serving the common good.

LA Engage is an initiative to INSPIRE and EMPOWER members and others to end racism, foster social justice and create equity.

Leadership Atlanta Class Initatives

Class of 2020- Project Light
Project Light was formed by a group of civic leaders brought together in the 2020 class of Leadership Atlanta. Overwhelmed by the reality of stark
inequality and racial injustice in the communities in which it works and lives, Project Light seeks to galvanize business leaders across the region to
dismantle systemic racism and increase economic mobility.

Class of 2004- Criminal Justice Reform
On February 3, the Class of 2004 hosted a program on Criminal Justice Reform with guest speakers from the Georgia Justice Project. 

Doug and Lisa shared four key areas of their work to reform the criminal justice system in Georgia: Probation Reform, Driver’s License Suspension (Click for more informatio), Child Support Issues, and Expungement Issues (pending)

  • Determine how you and/or your Class and networks want to engage

The application for the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2025 will open in December of 2023.
